LevelUp — Interval Training Companion
1. Overview
LevelUp ("the App") is a fitness application that helps users track interval training workouts, monitor progress, and build running habits. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.
2. Data Collection
LevelUp is designed with privacy in mind. The App operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers.
The following data is stored locally on your device:
- Workout history — Completed workouts, durations, intervals, and XP earned
- Program progress — Current stage, week, streak, and total XP
- Saved workout templates — Custom workouts you create
- Achievement status — Unlocked achievements and progress
- App preferences — Audio, haptic, volume, and display settings
3. Data Storage
All data is stored locally using Android's built-in storage systems (Room database and DataStore). No data leaves your device. There are no cloud sync, analytics, or crash reporting services integrated.
4. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE — To keep workouts running while the screen is off
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — To display workout timer and controls in the notification shade
- VIBRATE — To provide haptic cues during workouts
- WAKE_LOCK — To prevent the device from sleeping during active workouts
These permissions are used solely for core workout functionality. No data is collected or transmitted through these permissions.
5. Third-Party Services
LevelUp does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App contains no SDKs that collect or transmit user data.
6. Children's Privacy
LevelUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation and does not transmit any data.
7. Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Effective Date" below and published alongside the App.
